On Thursday, December 8th BCLA hosted our annual holiday mixer in Redondo Beach at Brazen House, co-sponsored by Brazen Bio. Brazen Bio is a specialized incubator program which aims to help scientists gain the necessary skills to become successful CEOs, with a central focus on helping biotech founders advance human health.
This year attendees gathered to celebrate another successful year of BCLA events, curated to bridge the gap between industry and academia. The event was kicked off by an introductory remark from BCLA vice president Oskar Sundberg. While networking over Mediterranean cuisine, local students, scientists and entrepreneurs shared triumphs and challenges of the past year. The event also had a holiday-themed photo booth and a raffle with cool gifts for attendees.
During 2022, BCLA continued serving the LA biotech community with our mission and vision: inspiring, educating, and connecting emerging scientists and entrepreneurs to grow and diversify biotech in Los Angeles. We are proud to have such a passionate and dedicated team to bring high quality events to the LA biotech community.
