Who We Are
BCLA Consulting is a division of BCLA, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, developed by Los Angeles based PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and industry experts from diverse scientific and professional backgrounds.
We are a student-led organization focused on providing biotech startups with actionable, affordable insights. Our team of graduate students and postdoctoral scientists come from top Los Angeles institutions and offer companies a unique blend of academic expertise and industry knowledge.
Our Mission
At BCLA Consulting our mission is to inspire, educate, and connect emerging scientists and entrepreneurs to grow and diversify biotech in LA through our work for the local biotech ecosystem. We are able to achieve our mission by:

Recruitment
BCLA Consulting offers graduate students, postdocs, and early-career professionals the opportunity to apply their scientific expertise to real-world business challenges. As part of our project teams, participants gain hands-on experience in market analysis, technology evaluation, and commercialization strategy while building leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Consulting Projects
